Random Projects

Woops, I seem to have racked up a pretty impressive/impossible to sort out, 10,000 photos and 80Gb worth of data so far. All on a little hard disk I bought in Auckland and backed up via a truly international backup system on various DVDs stored at Kath’s Mum’s in New Zealand and my old ipod. Still bet I loose them all before we get back though! Might need another hard disk just to be safe! and some other gadgets maybe too.

Well we’re now in Thailand and I know I’ve not blogged for ages, it’s just not the done thing when traveling/staying with others I’ve realised plus whenever I get my laptop out Kath somehow manages to jump on it and that’s the last I see of it! We’ve been staying with some of Kath’s friends who are setting up a kayak business with an NGO in Cambodia and now we’ve just met up with our friends Emma from Brighton and Claire who is VSOing here in Thailand.

So I’ve now got a massive catch up to do from New Zealand to Thailand with Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Cambodia in between. Here goes!

At least three buttons on my camera have been troubling me. No idea what they did. I know it’s not a very manly thing to do but I finally read my camera manual today. Frankly I’m amazed I’ve ever been able to take a picture. Now don’t expect any great change in picture quality, that still requires some skill
